White powder. Relative density is 4.24. Melting point is 1473 ºC. Boiling point is 2489 ºC. Soluble in hot hydrochloric acid, insoluble in fluoric acid, ethylalcohol and acetone.
Application:
Used in the manufacture of optical glass and single crystal for laser. Also can be used in the pharmaceutical industry and daily chemical industry, such as used in toothpaste additive for preventing dental caries, flux, advanced electronic component, etc. Also used in pharmaceutical and other fluoride substitute.
