Properties:
Bismuth nitrate pentahydrate is five-color triclinic system crystal, deliquescent and sour flavor. Relative density is 2.83, Melting point 75-80 ºC. Easily hydrolyze to produce basic bismuth nitrate. It is soluble in acetone, glacial acetic acid, glycerin and inorganic strong acid, not soluble in ethanol.
Application:
Used for electronic ceramics, fluorescent paint, catalyst containing bismuth, pharmaceuticals etc.
